Meet Dr. Gary Mangieri
I find the practice of dentistry to be fulfilling and rewarding. Over the past 25 years, I have had an opportunity to educate many of my patients about the value of a health smile through prevention and modern dental treatments. I have always put a high value on practicing preventive and conservative dentistry.
For patients that may be looking to enhance their smile or improve their function, it is gratifying to help them achieve those goals and ultimately elevate their quality of life. The practice of dentistry has truly given me the pleasure to meet and treat many unique people over the years.
Education and Continuing Education
- University of Pittsburgh – Bachelor of Science in biology and chemistry
- University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine – Doctorate of Dental Medicine
- Veteran’s Administration Medical Center in Oakland, Pennsylvania – General Practice Residency program
Since I graduated from dental school in 1992, dentistry has changed considerably. Techniques and materials change and improve constantly. Technology has become an integral part of the modern dental office. For all of these reasons, it is vitally important that I remain current with these changes so that I can provide the best care possible for my patients.
Over the last 25 years of practice, I have attended over a 1,000 hours of continued dental education training. This has helped me remain current with the many new and evolving techniques and materials in dentistry and has also allowed me to have my skills critiqued.
Dentistry is a profession of precision and consistency. In order to produce predictable results, it literally takes years of practice to become proficient. I recently completed a comprehensive training program in implant dentistry at the New Jersey School of Dental Medicine and obtained my Affiliate Associate Fellowship status in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
